Bio( Franz speaks with a heavy German accent, but writing everything out phonetically would be a pain and hard to read. So, just look over THIS to get an idea of what things would sound like. Also, I'm learning German, so forgive any mistakes. :x )

Background: Like all, Franz's childhood had its ups and downs. He was born and raised in Brussels, Belgium and is the Wesenbeek's second and last child. The household he grew up in was relaxed with enough discipline to assure the boys didn't grow up to be heathens. Even religion wasn't stressed -- Roman Catholicism -- and so long as the boys knew about God and some prayers, it was enough. They weren't even forced to attend church, although Alice and Franz often went. To this day, Franz still is Catholic. Around the neighborhood Franz was well-known as being a rambunctious and active kid after he met Alexander.
He attended the International School of Brussels for the last of elementary school and the beginning of middle school. There, he decided he wanted to attend Yale University after befriending a young, American teacher who gushed about it at the drop of a hat. After that, he began working harder on his grades and balancing a social life at the same time. After all, he had to do activities such as go to Alexander's house, take ballet lessons with Isabelle, and tag-along behind Geert and play the part of the annoying little brother. Life continued on.
When he was about fifteen, Franz came out to his parents. When he looks back, he jokes about how anticlimactic it was. His parents simply shrugged their shoulders and continued on with their daily lives. Not even Geert reacted much to it. The only person who reacted was Alexander, who stopped talking to Franz for nearly a month. Then he got over himself. Going back to being best friends was awkward, but they managed to get through it. Their relationship wouldn't be in jeopardy again until Alexander was admitted into a mental institution.
Franz went to the University of Brussels to study psychology, inspired by Alexander. On the side, he continued to dance. He graduated fourth in his class and decided to attend an American school for graduate school. His professor had worked at Yale University before and had nothing but good words about it, so after looking into it, Franz applied. He was accepted into the school on a scholarship despite his shaky English. Franz graduated from Yale with his Ph.D. and announced to his family he planned on staying in America since he held a dual citizenship. They were saddened by the decision, but supported him and as a present, his parents bought him a lovely apartment in a brownstone.
Franz previously worked at a middle school as a psychologist before being fired. Before he applied for a job at Cherry Hollow, he was out of work for a little over two months.
Personality: Despite popular belief, Franz is mentally sound. He is a friendly and outgoing person who loves to chat and be around friends. He is self-confident -- may come off a little arrogant or blunt -- and never minds looking foolish. In fact, as a "foreigner" he finds it easier to make mistakes and not be judge harshly. Franz considers himself a brave person (just ... don't ask) and loves playing the part of the leader.
His weak point would be his lack of money skills. Whatever he makes is quickly spent and he counts his blessings that his family isn't wallowing in abject poverty. The Belgian wears his heart on his sleeves, which leaves him open for injury. Other than that, he's a regular Oscar -- Franz is messy and feels comfortable in clutter. Sometimes he finds it hard to get his act together and he's even more disorganized when he doesn't have a drink. Franz is reckless, talks and laughs loudly, and just can't sit still.
